The main idea behind this painting was a story. A part of my personal story with another person. Everyone has a story and each painting can tell one and with this idea I started from the center of the canvases which to me represents the end of the story. It was completely painted in oil paint and purposefully created an illusion in the center of the canvas as if it had been cut but looking further you see an emptiness suspended in nothing. The borders represent a series of events, myself and the other person involved. In other words, a begging, a middle, and an end.
