The night always brings the best ideas and liberates your creativity like never before. I had an idea that was itching to come out with a warm light base of pinks and red. As the night progressed defined figures in shades of blue and purple also started to emerge. The entire work was painted in one night and I never retouched it which is very unusual. I showed the painting to some of my friends and they all thought the painting was about sex. Since it was complete and it needed a title, and the canvas had been my guest or ospite, I decided to call the piece, “Sex With the Ospite”.
