A watercolor like background in shades of pale pink blue and purple painted completely in oil paint. The central part of the painting which is also in oil paint was applied using a palette knife and various paintbrushes. A controlled explosion of color in the center that also fades at the edges into a pastel background filled with soft brushstrokes.
