The black image of a human-like form was the first part of the painting that was visualized. Liquid gesso and a palette knife were used to create texture and black charcoal was used to create the figure. Once the gesso was dry black oil paint and paint thinner was used to enhance the figure and create a background. After a couple of weeks red oil paint was added close to the borders and a shiny lacquer was painted over the black figure. We all have inner demons, the only difference is that I can paint them if I want to and let them out.
